Who are we

The Concept Kitchen is a chef-led residency platform operating inside pubs, restaurants and hotels. Each residency allows an independent chef to launch, test and refine an original concept inside a fully operational kitchen, under a time limited, revenue-share model.

  • We handle the framework so you can focus on the food. What we provide:

    • access to a fully equipped, licensed kitchen

    • An existing restaurant and hotel customer base

    • Revenue share model

    • Support with set up, launch and operations

    • Brand visibility

  • Each residency is intentionally time limited. This keeps concepts focused, allows for learning and refinement, and ensures quality for guests and venues.

  • The residency operates on a revenue share basis. There is no rent, no lease, and no salary. All parties are aligned through shared performance.

  • As a Chef, as your own brand, you are responsible for:

    • menu creation and food quality

    • Food ordering and stock control

    • Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

    • Consistent attendance and service during agreed hours

  • Chefs interested in the residency are invited to complete the application form, and if shortlisted to attend an informal interview. We are looking for chefs with:

    • a strong idea

    • Professional kitchen experience

    • The ambition to build something of their own

The business is an independent waterside restaurant and accommodation spot on Horseshoe Drive in Over, Highnam, Gloucester.

The Lock Keepers are looking for a Chef led breakfast residency operating during morning hours.

They are looking for an independent chef to test, launch, and refine their own food concept without the financial burden of opening a full restaurant, while providing breakfast service for hotel guests, public bookings and walk-ins (if necessary).

Example concepts:

  • Artisanal breakfast sandwiches

  • English Breakfasts

  • Regional/world breakfasts

  • Vegan or health focused concepts

  • Pastry concepts
